Polycarbonate Power
The Polycarbonate Hub is lighter-weight and lower-cost compared to the aluminum 1310 Series Hyper Hub. Its polycarbonate plastic material rocks the right mixture of strength and pliability for achieving secure and reliable clamping to 8mm™ REX™ shafting.
Easy One-Tool Assembly
Every location that requires a locknut has been graced with a hex counterbore on the goBILDA® 16mm square pattern. That means that whether you’re tightening the pinch bolts that secure the hub to a shaft, or you’re installing a wheel, a gear, or a pulley onto the hub, only one tool is required! If your build calls for the hub to mate with a threaded component, ditch the locknuts and install socket head screws from the backside of the hub.
Packed with Proficiencies
The 2mm protrusion on the face of the hub acts as a centering device for components with 14mm center holes—such as gears, sprockets, wheels, and pulleys throughout the goBILDA® ecosystem. A built-in shim provides for contact with a bearing without binding against the bearing’s outer race. And like all Hyper Hubs, this hub is balanced for use in high-speed applications!

Made for 8mm REX™ Shafting
This hub allows you to mount components to an 8mm REX™ shaft. A "REX™" shaft is part Round and part Hex. An 8mm REX™ shaft is 7mm flat-to-flat like 7mm hex shafts. The difference is that the tips are precision-ground to an 8mm diameter, allowing it to fit in an 8mm bearing. The bore of this hub has enough clearance in the corners to accept 7mm hex shafts and 8mm REX™ shafts alike.
