This Hyper Hub has a threaded bore to match our 8mm lead screws. Being able to clamp tightly around a lead screw gives you the ability to put a gear, sprocket or pulley onto a lead screw in order to rotate it to create a linear motion assembly. The lead screw bore provides additional holding power that is sometimes needed to take the immense forces a lead screw can put on a hub.
